For
more information about volunteering please contact
Mary Landon Green
at
302-644-3410. LDAF depends upon the
tremendous community support of our
Friends of LDAF to ensure the success
of our programs and events. LDAF has many volunteer
opportunities that offer the chance to make an
impact.
Please consider service as a:

PROGRAM VOLUNTEER
Every year LDAF holds a summer swim
camp, adaptive bike camp, day camp in partnership with the Children's Beach
House, holiday
educational toy drive and more! But we can not hold these programs
without the help and support of dedicated volunteers. Our programs are a great
way to get to know LDAF and the children and families we serve! |

SPECIAL EVENT COMMITTEE MEMBER
LDAF currently holds 4 annual
fundraising events. This is where the
majority of our funds raised come from and therefore
each and every event we do is extremely important.
Committee members are the backbone of the events.
Planning, donor cultivation and solicitation, idea
sharing and setting up the events are just a few
things the members execute. The staff is always here
to support you while you support us! |

OFFICE AND BULK MAIL TEAM MEMBER
Bulk mailings and
office work are a fun and easy way to get involved! LDAF
does mailings throughout the year for things like events,
programs and annual giving just to name a few. With your
help LDAF can efficiently complete these tasks. |

LEGISLATIVE ACTION COMMITTEE MEMBER
Today, legislative
work is critical to the individuals we serve. By
getting involved, you can help LDAF at the state and
local levels through advocacy and awareness efforts.
Our legislators need to know what the issues are
that individuals with autism face. Whether it be
while in school or while transitioning to life on
their own, every issue is critical and important. By
joining us on the forefront, you can help make
Delaware a better place to live for the
individuals we serve! |

LDAF
believes that your time is as valuable as your
money. Nonprofits would not survive without the
donated time and efforts of their volunteers. We
hope you will join us in making a difference in
the lives of individuals with autism in Sussex
County. We promise it will be rewarding and fun!
