ACTION ALERT - JULY 31, 2008: Communication with our Senators is
needed! |
Issue: Medicaid
Rehabilitative Services Option
As a cost saving mechanism, the Federal Government is trying to pass
a Medicaid Rehabilitative Services Option, a regulation that would
restrict the scope of rehabilitative services that are eligible for
federal Medicaid matching payment, thus eliminating coverage for day
habilitation and life skills support services for adults with autism
and other developmental disabilities.
